The storyline is one you can really sink your teeth into. The imagery takes you on the adventure with the characters. Sam Worthington delivers another epic 3D adventure.

Sam Worthington is the "Go-To" Man for 3D Adventure

“Avatar” sold fans on Sam Worthington’s ability to act in front of a green screen. “Clash of the Titans” has sealed the deal. Sam Worthington’s portrayal of Perseus, a man who becomes a pivotal figure in the war between gods and man, brought the story to life and gave it new meaning. Worthington is quickly becoming the go-to man for 3D movie magic.

Perseus Spared from Death

“Clash of the Titans” follows Perseus, half man, half god (he later learns he is called a demigod) who is doomed to death at birth by a king whose wife was tricked by Zeus and bedded him, believing it was her husband. The king orders the pregnant queen be killed. Perseus is miraculously spared and is found and raised by a fisherman and his wife away from the knowledge of the gory details of his birth. Perseus develops a hatred for the gods, one of which is responsible for the loss of his family.

"Damn The Gods"

When Perseus is spared again from death, he is rescued by soldiers and taken to Argos, a city who has completely turned from worshipping the gods. In their conceit, the queen says that her daughter, Andromeda, is more beautiful than Aphrodite herself. After the destruction of multiple temples and a statue created in Zeus’ honor, Zeus can take no more. He lets loose his brother, Hades, among the people. Hades literally raises hell, and lots of it.

Perseus, the Unwilling Hero

Perseus sets out with the soldiers from Argos to find a way to destroy a beast only he possesses the strength to destroy, Hades’ Kracken, who has been set on Argos to eat Andromeda, whose vain, conceited mother has so offended the gods. Perseus becomes the unwilling hero as he battles giant scorpions, travels with a band of Djinn and journeys to the underworld to retrieve the head of Medusa, all the save a woman he barely knows. Many mythical creatures make their way into the film, but strangely missing is Bubo, Perseus’ owl in the 1981 original film.
